We're kicking off Literary Death Match's 2015 with a romp for the generations, with enough raucous, comedic and literary talent to spin you into a haze of weird brilliance. Preorder a ticket now and support the show that the Nashville Scene called "as engaging as the best concerts, plays and stand-up comedy sets I've ever seen, all rolled into one." Boom!

What is Literary Death Match? Four writers read their own work for seven minutes or less, and are then judged by three all-star judges. Two finalists are chosen to compete in the Literary Death Match finale, a vaguely-literary game to decide the ultimate winner.

Literary Merit: Wayne Federman, comedian, writer, actor (Curb Your Enthusiasm), author of Maravich
Performance: Timothy C. Simons, actor from HBO's Veep, Inherent Vice and The Interview
Intangibles: Iliza Shlesinger, comedian of 1-hour special War Paint & champ of NBC's Last Comic Standing
Super-Intangibles: T.J. Miller, comedian, co-star of HBO's Silicon Valley and voice of Fred in Big Hero 6

* Peter Mehlman, Emmy-nominated writer for Seinfeld, and author of It Won't Always Be This Great
* M.G. Lord, award-winning author of Forever Barbie, Astro Turf and The Accidental Feminist
